In 2017 my husband and I "right-sized" after 17 years in one home. Sifting through photos, documents and articles saved by my parents and my grandparents, I yearned to hear their story in their words. I wondered whether others might be longing for the narrative to go with their facts and memorabilia. A genealogy or family tree is a wonderful thing to hand down to future generations, but it's the narrative of a personal, family or organizational history that infuses the past with vitality. Everyone has a story. Heritage Writers wants to help them tell it.
